Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers Colorado Gold Conference at the Renaissance Denver Stapleton Hotel September 5-8. I attended many workshops with outstanding presenters including Marie Force, and Anne Hillerman. This was the best conference I have ever attended! Here is a picture of me with Mary Hagen. Mary Hagen and I attended the Colorado Romance Writers Retreat in Winter Park at the Winter Park Mountain Lodge September 27 through September 30. This time of year, the gorgeous golden leaves of the aspen trees shimmered in the sunshine. At this retreat, I concentrated on writing my sixth book. We would have timed sprints to write and then compare how many words had been written. Again, a wonderful retreat to attend.
